NORTH ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIP. Per Press Association. WANGANUI, Dec. 29. The North Island rifle shooting championship meeting .was concluded to-day in fine weather. The championship resulted as follows : £lo—Dep-Pres. H. Hunt (Suburbs) 327 £6—W. H. West (Renwick) ... 322 I £4—Capt. H. Simmonds (Wani ganui) 322 £3—F. T. Hood (Featherston) .. 321 £2—W. J. Park (Wanganui) ... 319 Tyro championship.—F. T. White (Okawa), 273, £5; R. Ramsay (Linton), £269, £3; C. Ivempton (Wanganui), 276, £2. The Marybank aggregate was won by Dep.-Pres. H. Hunt. Champion teams match.—Wanganui A 481, Linton 479, Petone 476, Wanganui C 469, Featherston 467, New Plymouth 467. Optional Aggregate.—Capt. H. Simmonds (Wanganui) 184, £10; Dep.Pres. H.
