WORLD ECONOMICS.
CONFERENCE SUGGESTED. BERLIN, Dec. 26. Herr Schacht, president of the Iteichsbank, commends the suggestion of M. Loucheur of an international economic conference, which he believes would show that no nation can prosper at the expense of another. Herr Stresemann, in an article in the Dresdner Neuestenachrichten, stresses tho importance of unity among tho European nations. He argues that England’s unemployment would lessen if Germany’s purchasing yower were increased, and Franco’s finances would improve when a peaceful Europe offered a safo ground for foreign credits and investments. —A. and N.Z. cable.
