GOVERNMENT PROPOSAL. ABOLITION BILL SHORTLY. Received December 28, 10.15 a.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 28. The Government proposes to appoint ft number of women to the Legislative Council and then originate the Abolition Bill in the Council, probably early next year.—Press Association.
