LINSEED MARKET. The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated the 2nd instant, from Calcutta, with reference to the linseed market: Immediate shipment quoted at £lB 12s Gd per ton net c. and f. Sydney; market quiet. STOCK MARKET. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report having held their fortnightly sale at Bulls on Monday, 2nd instant, when a small yarding of sheep and a good entry of cattle come forward to a good attendance of the public. We quote as follows:—Hoggets, 28s to 34s 8d; yearling heifers, £2 os, £3 Pis, £4 18s Gd, .Co 12s (id; 2-yr heifers, £3 Ids, £5 15s; forward cows, £3 6s, £3 Ids; fat cows, £4" 13s, £3; wcaner pigs, 17s 6d, 22. s 27s to 31s Gd.
