FRIENDLY SOCIETIES.
OROUA LODGE OF DRUIDS. The fortnightly meeting of Oroua Lodge of Druids was held last night, A.I). Bro. G. Gulliver presiding. Final arrangements were made for the annual conversazione to he held on November 11 in aid of the children’s Christinas tree fund. It was stated that two hags each of sugar and flour had been donated, and it was decided that these be competed for at the card tournament. Feeling reference was made to the.death of P.G.P. Bro. R. P. Flanagan, who died in Wellington last week. A motion of sympathy with the relatives was carried in silence.
