WALL STREET BOOM

SPECULATIVE OUTBURST. RAPID RISE IN PRICES. Received November 3, 1.55 p.m. NEW YORK, Nov. 2. Wall street’s plutocratic stocks, namely those selling for 200 dollars upward per share, behaved like wild cat oil issues to-day, when the Stock Exchange witnessed one of the most remarkable speculative outbursts in its history. 'This rapid advance in high priced issues, following on the heels oT the recent lioom in the market, brought the public by thousands into the market. Many small speculators who lost money in some of last week’s declines returned, hoping to recoup themselves. Optimistic reports of business conditions ami declarations of extra dividends by large corporations continue to stimulate trading.—A. and N.Z. cable.
