LARGE NUMBERS LEAVE TOWN

Bowlers were present in force on their respective greens, pairs tournaments being held by the Palmerston North, Northern and Terrace End Clubs. Numerous picnic parties left the town. A sports programme was scheduled for this afternoon. Delegates attending the Bible class eonlerence in connection with the Presbyterian Church also intended holding a sports gathering on the Boys’ High School grounds this afternoon.
