A BUSY TIME. ADDRESSING AIANY AIEETINGS. Tbo Prime Alin is ter, Hon. J. G. Coates, will be unable to attend the garden party to be given at Feilding on Wednesday in Air Guthrie’s honour, but will deliver a political address there in the evening . of that day. Air Coates was due to arrive at New Plymouth yesterday from the Waikato. This morning he was to address a meeting at Waitara and in the afternoon speak at Inglewood. This evening he will address the electors of the Taranaki electorate at the Corporation Hall, New Plymouth. Tomorrow Air Coates will motor to Opunnke, where, as Minister of Public Works and Railways, lie will officially open the the railway extension. On AVednesday the Premier is scheduled to arrive at Marton at 5 o’clock to open the new post office, give an address of an hour’s duration, attend a dinner and later address a public meeting in Feilding at 8 p.m. VISIT TO PALMERSTON NORTH. ON THURSDAY NEXT. Last week Air J. A. Nash wrote to tho Prime Alinister stating that, if he were passing through Palmerston North many of his friends would like to have the opportunity of seeing him for a short time. He has now wired Air Nash as follows:—“I shall arrive at Palmerston North by train from Feilding on Thursday 29th at 10.56, proceeding to Hawke’s Bay by the Napier mail train. My speaking programme is already tremendously heavy, and I desire to save my voice as much as possible; if acceptable I would be very pleased to meet a gathering of your friends and take a cup of tea with them before leaving for Hawke’s Bay.” Arrangements will he made at Mr Nash’s committee meeting to-night to carry out the arrangements as suggested.
