CAUGHT IN MACHINE.

A painful accident befell a young man named Erne3t Ferguson, at Mangahao, on Wednesday, his arm being caught in the machine which he was tending. Ho was admitted to the Palmerston North hospital suffering from a fracture of the limb. MOTORISTS COLLIDE. When journeying from Ilunterville to Palmerston North on Wednesday evening a motor cyclist named Austin Charles came into collision with another cyclist who was proceeding in the opposite direction. The former sustained a fractured leg, necessitating his removal to the Palmerston North hospital. The other cyclist, fortunately, escaped serious injury. CHILD SUFFERS INJURY. A child of two years named Donald Young, of Rangitane, has been admitted to the hospital suffering from injuries to the foot which had been inflicted with an axe. Tho patient wus to-day reported to be progressing favourably.
