SEARCH FOR BANDITS.
MISTAKEN CONFLICT. MEXICO CITY, May 17. Two armed groups searching for bandits met at dawn near Chihautlan and fought for two hours before discovering they were not bandits. Both sides suffered severly, seventeen being killed.—A. and N.Z. cable.
