POLO FIELD ACCIDENT

TE AROHA, Jan. 6. While playing a polo match, Harry Collins, a member of the Waihou A team, met with a somewhat peculiar accident. Noticing a broken bottle on the playing area, lie jumped off his pony to pick it up. when the horse pulled back, Collins falling heavily on. the broken bottle.

A medical examination revealed arteries cut in the upper portion of the left arm, several stitches being' necessary.
