MOTORISTS ON TOUR.

CAMPING IN THE OPEN. HAMILTON, Jan. 6. An interesting sight during the New Year holidays was the number of motorists who camped by the roadside when overtaken by darkness. In some cases canvas cover* were spread over the limbs of trees or from the top of hoods to the ground, while other motorists made use of the fences. Rugs were spread on the ground for sleeping. The weather conditions have been ideal, and the roads are generally in good order.
