THE RUMUERA TRAGEDY.
SIMPKIN AGAIN BEFORE COURT. CASE TO BE HEARD NEXT WEEK. On Thursday at the Auckland Police Court, before Mr J. W. Poynton, S. M., James Simpkins again appeared charged with the murder of his wife, Emma Simpkins, at Remurea, on October 5. Chief-Detective Cummings, in applying for a remand until Thursday next, intimated that this was the final remand. The preliminary hearing of the charge will take place on December 4. ..
