GUN CLUB.

COMMITTEE MEETING. A meeting of the committee of the Pal«rston North Gun Club was held last Xilght, Mr N. D. Stubbs presiding. There were also present: Messrs H. E. Best, J. E. Fitt, J. Donald, F. Seivert and E. R. Bryant (secretary). On the motion of Mr Stubbs, it was resolved that application be made to the Sew Zealand Gun Club Association for the allocation of the next New Zealand clay championships to Palmerston North. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Mr Seivert for providing a box for the storage of cartridges. It was decided to hold the annual meeting on July 14 and a sweepstake shoot next Saturday. Accounts amounting to £39 14s Id were passed for payment.
