A special meeting of the Central School Committee was held last night to make arrangements for the annual school picnic to be held at Plimmerton on February 15. There were present: Messrs Robinson, Mills, Edwards, Hubbard and Clark. It was reported that a special tram had been arranged for to leave Palmerston North at 7 am! arriving at Plimmerton at 10.18 o’clock.’ On the return journey it would leave at 5 o’clock, 'reaching Palmerston North at 7.56. The fares were fixed at children 2s 6d, senior scholars 5s 6d, adults 4s 6cL
