At to-dav’s meeting oi the general committee of the AJanawatu A, and I'. Associalion, -Mr 11. Gillie* suggested that a smoke concert be held during the Spring Show ns well ns at the Winter Show. Ho moved m llml direction. Air J. A. IvleKelvic seconded Iho motion. An amendment was moved by air S. H. Lancaster that the matter bo referred to the special commtheo set up io consider the provision of additional attractions at the Spring Show. This was adopted, Air Gillies not pressing his motion. The. scale of judges’ expenses was referred to the finance _ committee lor revision. it was also decided to table a remit on the subject at (he forthcoming conference of .North Island A. and P. Associations.
