NEW SOUTH WALES LOAN.
Received Alav 16. 1.20 p.m. ‘ LONDON, Alav 15, The underwriters receive 93 per cent, of the New South Wales loan.—A. and N.Z. cable. During the first; two or three days of the New South Wales loan many subscript ions of large amounts of new money were received, Indicating that the loan would probably be over-subscribed, but when the Genoa position became acute n’eariy the whole of it was withdrawn. The final lotal was £350,000, tho lowest recorded for many years. , Mr (‘ogblan informed the Australian 1 ress Association that the result was attributable to the reaction caused by the fears of the consequences of a Genoa disagreement,— A. and N.Z. cable.
