IRISH UNREST.
PRECAUTIONS ROUND DUBLIN. DUBLIN, July 10. Dublin is surrounded by military pickets, operating behind barricades, who are searching inward and outward bound vehicles, whether horse or motor. Occasionally pedestrians are halted and searched. All tho soldiers wear full fighting gear, to guard against surprise attacks. There are similar movements in other parts of Ireland, including Belfast, which are aimed at preventing the transfer of secret supplies of arms and ammunition about the country. Military activity in Dublin is undiminished. The erection of defensive barricades and elaborate sandbag redoubts and shelters continues. Tho military occupy schools and churches on the outskirts of the city. There _ has been no relaxation of 'vigilance in examining vehicles entering and leaving. Sir Edward Carson has arrived in Belfast to participate in Monday's demonstration.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
