Cup race will bo sailed on July 15th, the second on July 17th, and the third on July 20th. The Resolute and Shamrock IV. tiro both being measured for the purpose of determining what time allowance shall be made for tho smaller vessel. It is unofficially estimated that the Resolute will obtain six awl a half minutes allowance.

Sir Thomas Lipton lias made the following statement: "1 might say the challenger is the magic key wherewith I hope to achieve my lifelong ambition of winning the America Cup.
