Dalyety and Go., Ltd.. Palmerston North, report liaving a very good entry of sheep and a fair yarding of cattle at their I'eilding sale on Friday, the .6th instant. With the exception of two pens, all lines of sheep changed hands, but cattle wore hard to quit. Quotations: Sheep: Medium 2-th wethers 275, small 2-th wethers 23s lOd. mixed ago ewes and IMubs 54s lOd, light fat shorn owes 28s 2d, mixed hoggets 29s 7d, 31s 2d, 32s lid, 33s Id, 545, good wether hoggets 30s Bct, good ewo hoggets 38s Id. Levin's report:—Daring the past, week we held our usual yard sales at, Hulls and at At 13u 11s \vo had «ui exceptionally hoavv aiding of caillo, some 900 odd head of all classes being submitted. Sheep also came forward largely in excess of advertised numbers. Bidding at auction for sheep was good, and wo sold the whole yarding with (he exception of one pen at prices slightly higher than those ruling at other market,-. Bidding for cattle was did! and lifeless, and although wo .succeeded in quitting the bulk of the offering, vendors had in most cases to considerably reduce their reserves. At ]'oilding on Friday, a. very heavy yarding of sheep came forward. Bidding was patchy, and prices all round were slightly. easier. A inir yarding of cattle was submitted, and although buyers were nut keen to operate, most lint's were sold, prices, a.s at Bulls, being somewhat, easier.
