AUCTION SALES,
Mounsey and Co. insert a final reminder of Mr Uroll’s sale, to be hold to-morrow, al 1 o’clock, at No. 238 Eeatherston street oast. A sideboard, couch, bedstead, duchess chest, linoleum, china tea set, poultry and sundries are included in the list to bo offered, and intending buyers are urged to make a point of attending. A reminder of Mrs K. E. Ringrose's sale, to bo hold on Wednesday, at 1 o’clock, is inserted by Lcydou and Co. MART REPORT. Harry Palmer and Co. report as follows cu (hoir mart sale on Saturday; —Wo had a. very, large entry of poultry, and a medium on© of pigs. Quality was not very well reprceontod in either case, but anything in good order met with a ready tale, Weaners realised 10s to 20s 6d, porkers 23s to 49,s 6d, stores to 455, bacenors to 725; hens 4s to 6s 6d, cockerels -1s to 10s, small chickens 6d to Is, ducklings 3s 6d to 9s 3d, turkeys 14s to 23?, goslings 6s 6d to 1< 6d. ducks 5s to 6s Gel, young pullets to 7s 3d : rhubarb 4d to 6d bundle, asparagus 6d to 7d, cabbage to 2s 0d dozen, 6s to 7s sack, now potatoes; ltd to "Ad lb, gooseberries 5s 6d to 7s per halloa so,,' lettuce to l s 3d dozen, old potatoes from 2s 6d to 12s .sack. Other produce .showed a .good turnover at market rates. Furniture was in good demand and good sales resulted.
