HOCKEY.
A telegram from the New Zealand Hockey Association to Mr C. J. McHardie'; secretary of the Manawatu Hockey Association; states that tho final fop. the Norden Cup, which was to have been played this season between a MflWlltll 'representative team anil thft winners of the Marl-bofoiigii-West Coast match, has been postponed till next season. A letter confirming tho wire and explaining the reasons for this action is awaited, and it is likely that the local Association will enter a protest, as the conditions do not allow for a postponement, but. stipulate that the Cup shall be played for each year, the winners'to hold it till the following season.
