Tho Scotch social and dance to be held in the Municipal Hall on Friday evening in aid of tho funds for tho furnishing of tho High School promises to be a great success. Tho arrangements for the entertainment are in the hands of a very energetic ladies' committee, who will leave nothing undono that will make the evening an enjoyable one for young and old. Tho condition of tho floor will bo such as to contribute materially to tho pleasure of tho dancing. Several popular singers of Scottish songs have promised to contribute items. There will also be Highland dancing in costume by some first-claes performers, '
