BOWLING.
Bowling is expected to be in full swing in Palmerston in tho early part of October, the winter having been a particularly mild one and assisting the lawns considerably. The Patea Bowlinp; Club has decided to allow 1 ladies to play on the green, as last year. There was only one dissentient to the proposal.
