November 26th and December 3rd. — Old Boys v. Manawatu A; High School v. ' Manawatu B. December 10th and 17th.—Old Boye v. Manawatu B; High School v. Manawatu A. ' " ; WEDNESDAY. November 16th and 23rd. High School v. Phoenix A; Manawatu Club v. CityPhoenix B a bye. November 30th and December 7th.~Phoenix B v. High School; Phoenix A v. City; Manawatu Club a bye. December 14th and 21st.—Manawatu Club v. Phoenix B; High School v City; Phoemix A a bye. January 11th and 18th, 1911. —Phoenix A v. Manawatu Club; City v. Phoenix B; High School a bye. The Management Committee of the Association meet next Wednesday week.
There is at present in Palmerston a Nottinghamshire professional, who has references stating that he is a splendid bat and a good slow pace left hand bowler. The cricket authorities are endeavouring to secure hie services. There was no cricket to-day, but on Saturday next the competitions commence in earnest.
