HOCKEY.
Another meeting of the Technical School Hockey Club was held last evening, Mr F. D. Opie (president) being in the chair. The remaining officers were elected, Mr George Marshall being made vice-captain, and the captain, vicecaptain and president were appointed a selection committee. A challenge was received from Excelsior (Masterton) ' for Easter Monday, and it was decided to accept. A number of tenders were received for the club's uniforms, and it was decided to accept C. M. Ross and Co.'s blue jersey with a white collar — a very neat-looking uniform. These jerseys will be to hand in a day or two arid members of the club can obtain them from the Bon Marche. It was decided to commence practice on Friday morning in the Grey street reserve, permission having been obtained from Miss Fraser for the, use of the ground for the season. All the officers elected accepted office, and sent along donations. Old Boys and Post Office both hold their annual meetings this week.
