INSURANCE COMPANIES QUIT NAPIER.
Napier, March 13. At a meeting of the Chamber of Commerce the chairman said the way the insurance companies had run from Napier after the ’quake was absolutely disgraceful as all its clients were abandoned. It was de • cided to ask the head offices to reopen their offices in Napier and to attend to their eliente’ business.
