DAYLIGHT SAVING ENDS TO-MORROW.
Despite agitation in some quarters for an extension beyond the statutory period of daylight saving, time and tide have waited for no man, and the benefits of the extra half-hour of daylight will end tomorrow, when the old time will be reverted to. It will therefore be necessary for the public to put back their time-pieces 30 minutes before retiring to-night or else to do so at midnight.
