"» London, Wednesday morning. The House of Commons has been sitting 24 hours more on the Irish •^Coercion 1.5111. The Irish members have been again obstructs?, and scandalous scenes have occurred. Language of ax-most violent character has been used. The Speaker warned the obstructors that their action was verging on wilful obstruction -which the House could punish. The Hon. John Bright characterised the action of the Irishmen as a gross insult to the House, and said the Government would shortly apply a remedy to such conduct. Later. Further disgraceful scenes occurred in the House of Commons, and at 10 a.m. the Speaker stopped the debate. Still gieater disturbance then ensued, and the Irish members left the House in a body. The Bill was then read 4 first time. The second reading was fixed ior noon.
