There was splendid weather today for the races. The attendance was not unusually large, not more than 1500 being present up to 12 o'clock. One accident happened. Williams, the new jockey from Victoria, was thrown from Miss Domett in the Maiden Plate, and his collar-bone was broken. Beyond this everything went splendidly. Maiden Plate— Governor 1, Badsworth 2.
