The death is reported of Charles Wertheimer, whose art collection in 1907 was estimated to be worth £75,----000. Wertheimer's house was burgled of £37,000 worth of art treasures, on February 19th, 1907. THE WHITE ENSIGN. OTTAWA, April 26. Rear-Admiral Kingsmill, at a banquet at Halifax, alluded to the Australian action in providing a flag for the Navy, and declared that Canada ought never to change her white ensign. The flag showed that Great Britain's Dominions were one. AVIATION ACHES. PARIS, April 26. The report of the Academy of Sciences, based on doctors' investigations, shows that aviators find, breathing difficult at an altitude of 5000 ft, and buzzing ears at 6000 ft. Rapid descents induce headaches and a strong desire to sleep.
