ELLERSLIE TRAINING NOTES.
AUCKLAND, April 15. A heavy fog overhung the Ellerslie course this morning. Fortunately it was an ".off-" morning, and the majority of the horses were restricted to easy pacing/. Yesterday's new arrivals included Gold Crest.
Marguerite did nine furlongs on the sand, the last six in'lmin 20 2-ssec. King Billy ran seven on the sand in lmin 34sec, assisted by Aborigine in the concluding stage.
