SYDNEY, April 15. In the semi-final gallops this morning, Maranui, with the right weight up, did a pleasing six furlongs in 1 mm i 17isec; Waipuna covered seven fur|ongsi in < Imin 33sec; Togo did an easy mile in Imin 49sec; Poseidon rattled over ten furlongs in 2min 13£ sec-^—the best gallop of the morning.
