At the wool sales the following were the average prices realised for the fleece portions of the clips named: — Moeraki 12£ d, Awhea ll£d, W.D. lOfd. The sales closed'firm at-full rates.

At the tallow auctions 1809 casks were offered, and 1239 sold. Prices were unchanged, with an .occasional 3d advance.

Copper, spot £93 10s per ton, three months £8.7 ss; tin, three months £181 10s; lead, £21 10s. The American visible t supply of wheat is 62,113,000 bushels.
