BUSINESS NOTES.
Two plaughmen advertise for situations. A handsome launch, recently imported from Sydney, is now in Wellington at 21 Featherston Street. This launch was built in America, and sent out here as a sample boat. She is fitted up in the most up-to-date style, with every convenience, and can easily be used tor camping purposes, having a canvas cover over the whole of the cabin. A general meeting of the parishioners of the Anglican Church will be held at the Church of the Nativity schoolroom this evening at 8 o'clock. Mr J. Quane, favourably known in Marlborough for many years, when connected with agricultural machinery firms, has taken charge of a general agency company, just established in Blenheim. The firm's temporary address is "Express Avenue." An advertiser desires to rent a house containing ftbout five rooms. A second-hand full-siaed bagatelle table, in good order, is for sale. Tailoresses should note an advertiser's wants in this issue. Two good carpenters are in demand.
