THE WAIRAU SEAT

Charles Houghton Mills and John Duncan were to-day nominated for the Wairau seat. The Hon. Mr Mills was nominated by William Macey, photographer; Geo. Houldsworth, farmer; Arthur Wiffen, merchant; and J. B. Porter, laborer. Mr Duncan's nominators were: A. E. Bartlett, clothier; Geo. Thos. Corbett, carpenter; John O'Sullivan, canvassing agent; T. J. Ball, hairdresser; A. McKinlay, tailor; William Ching, produce dealer; James McKinley, builder; Wm. Ramsey, gardener; John W. H. Lankow, farmer, Tua Marina; William Carr, ironmonger; John Conolly, solicitor; and H. Henderson, painter.
