CHARGE OF ARSON.
Press Association. Electric Telegraph, Copyright. AsHBUiiTON, June 20. Between ten and eleven o'clock last night a five roomed house in Grey Street, occupied by M. Buchanan, was with its contents totally destroyed by fire. The house was insured for £125 in the South British, but the contents were not insured. Buchanan was arrested subsequently for alleged arson, and appeared at Court this morning, when he was remanded till June 29tb, bail being fixed at £250 in his own recognisance and £250 by surety, which was not forthcoming.
