$ [UNITED PBES3 ASSOCIATION.] Dunedin, October 14. Diphtheria has made its appearance m South Dunedin, and two deaths are reported. Wellington, October 14. The steamer lonic, from Lyttelton, left Rio for London yesterday, with her meat m good condition. The Rotokino, with horses from Wellington, arrived at Calcutta on the Bth inst. An Order-in-Council is published, prohibiting the exportation of rock, shore, drift, or mangrove oysters from New Zealand after the 22nd inst. Tha Premier leaves for the South this afternoon. Mr Seddon left for the West Coast, South Island, at midnight.
