The criminal sessions opened this morning. Mr Justice Eichmond congratulated the Grand Jury upon the lightness of the calendar, which did not contain any serious cases being nearly all larceny. A true bill was found against Eobert McCarry for larceny.

Later

True bills were found against Geo. Ewart (two charges),- Francis Alexander McMinn, Bichard O'Donnell, and Nellie Hurley, larceny ; Henry Fuller, receiving stolen property ; James Madden, an absconding bankrupt. Eobert McCarry was sentenced to two years for larceny.

A true bill was found against John Pomeroy, alias Collins, forgery (two charges), and a no bill against John Keefe, larceny.
