Sir Charles Wentworth Dilke (Liberal member for the Forest of Dean division of Gloucestershire since 1892); aegd 68. . Sir Charles Dilke sat in Parliament as long ago as 1868. An Army and foreign affairs expert, he was the proprietor of the 'Athenaeum' and 'Notes and Queries.' At the last election he beat Mr H. D. Kyd (Unionist) by 2724 wjotes. He was Under-Secretarv of TState for Foreign Affairs, 1880-82/ CHIEF IN SOUTH AFRICA. Received January 27, 10 a.m CAPETOWN, Jan. 26. The chief Sebede has died at Mafeking.
