B Grade Final. ( Te Whetu Beat Matamata. The final of ( the Waikato East Lawn Tennis Association’s B grade competition was played between Matamata and Te Whetu, at Tirau, on Saturday, when the latter won by il matches (115 games) to 8 matches (104 games). Te Whetu thus winning the B grade championship. The following were the scores, Te Whetu players being mentioned first: Men’s Doubles.—Smith and L. Jensen lost to Kealey and Laurie, 3—9; H. and W. Jensen beat Fitzgerald and Schofield, 9—Martin and Alcock lost to Bluck and Chappell, 6—9. Men’s Singles.—Smith lost to Kealey, 4—9; L. Jensen lost to Laurie, 6 —9; W. Jensen lost to Fitzgerald, 4—9; H. Jensen beat Bluck, 9—5; P. Alcock beat Schofield, 9—4; Martin lost to Chappell, 7—9. Combined Doubles.—L. Jensen “and Miss A. Dobson beat Kealey arid Mrs. Hutchison, 6—5; P. Smith and Mrs. Sutherland beat Laurie and Miss Park, 6—l; W. Jensen and Miss E. Dobson beat Miss Sfonex, 6—3; H.
