FROZEN MEAT EXPORTS.

SHIPMENTS FROM NEW ZEALAND. ■ The New Zealand Meat Producers Board reports that from November 1, 1923, to October 15, 1924, the following shipments of frozen meat were made from New Zealand : Beef, 286,499 quarters; mutton, 1,885,836 carcases; lamb, 4,833,264 carcases. The killing's at all works during 1923-24 season were as follow, the figures being North Island, South Island and total in that order:—Beef (quarters), 319,966, 1920, 321,886; wether mutton (carcases), 868,686, ,145,001, 1,013,687; ewe mutton (carcases), 639,022, 278,128, 917,150; lamb (carcases), 2,108,995, 2,661,022, 4,770,017; sundries (freight carcases), 286,936, 63,800, 350,736.

The stocks in hand at October 15 were:—Beef (quarters), 39,827; wether mutton (carcases), 24,981; ewe mutton (carcases), 49,400; lamb (carcases), 14,520; sundries (freight carcases), 46,691.
