WEDDING.

ALLISON—HAINES. A quiet wedding of interest to Queenstown people took place at »St. Paul’s Cathedral, Dunedin, at 7 p.m. on 3rd July. This was the marriage of Gladys Ada, second daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Win. T. Haines of Queenstown, to Mr John Raugi Allison of Puketeraki. The bride, who was given away by her cousin, Mr Wm. Grant of Dunedin, was attired in a blue crepe-de-cliine frock. She wore a small blue hat to match and blue suede shoes. Miss Constance Haines attended her sister, wearing a wine coloured frock and small felt and velvet hat to match, with black satin court ,shoes. The bride and bridesmaid both carried bouquets of bronze chrysanthemums. The bride and bridegroom left by car next morning for Timaru, where the honeymoon was spent.
