WEDDING BELLS.
' CLEAItWATEE—MULHOLLAND. All the world loves a lover, and happy indeed is the occasion when Iwo young hearts meet to the peal ol wedding bells to give and plight ** to other their troth. Such an «y spicious event took place yesterday morning (in St. Andrew's Church, when Miss Sarah Mulholland, third daughter of Mr and Mrs Wm. Mulholland of Queenstown, was joined in holy wedlock to Henry Styles Clearwater, youngest son of Mr Fred. Clearwater, of Kiversdale. At eight o'clock tne bridal party arrived at the church, aud leaning on her lather's arm tne pretty young bride walked up tli© aisle neaill a row oi lloral arches to wnere the. bridegroom was in waiting. Over the spot- there liun# a beautiful lloral bell made by tne girl friends of the bride. The other decorations were also tne work pf loving hands. The briue kicked a sweet picture in a coat frock of (awn serge, with a chapeau of Hesh tint satin, the brim being lined with black straw, its only tri.nming was a star outlined in silver stitcnery on the front of the crown. Sue carried a bouquet oi pale pink camellias, ferns and smilax. Miss Mulnohland, the briue'a eldest sister, who attended her, wore a very smart navy serge costume, her hat being of pale blue silk poplin, the brim lined in brown and • the ciown encircled with a simple band of brown silk. Her bouquet was oi deep pink camellias, ferns and smilax, Mr Gordon Clearwater supported his biother as best man. The new minister of St. Andrew's, the Kev ii. C. Hunter, was the officiating cleric. The short but ialpressive ceremony was witnessed by a very large number of friends and relatives of the contracting parties. <U its conclusion the happy pair left the sacred edifice to the joyful strains of Mendelssohn's Wedding March. Outside the church they received the hearty congratulations of their friends and many were the good wishes showered upon them as they took their departure by motor car for .North Otago where the honeymoon is to be spent. Mr and Mra Clearwater were the recipients of many valuable tokens of the esteem in which they are held by their many friends.—Hearty congi adulations.
