Tho “Evening Standard” indicates the possibility of the Allies raising an international loan for the purpose of mobilising Germany’s indemnity, and allow her money tor reconstruction. It is admitted that there are great difficulties in the way of finding money for such a loan. (Received May 19, 11.45 p.m.) Mr Asquith, speaking at the Central Hall, Westminster, pointed to the tragic situation throughout Europe, and expressed the opinion that the only practical remedy was revision and modification of the toijms of peace, coupled with the prompt executive operation of the League of National's powers
