THE KAISER AGAIN. PREDICTED WORLD WAR NINE YEARS AGO. NEW YORK, December 17. The interview reeked with abuse of King Edward and slander of the Roman Catliolio Church in Germany and elsewhere. Tho Kaiser also characterised the Anglo- Japanese Alliance as unchristian.

TIME FQR PEACE. MAXIMILIAN HARDEN’S VIEW. AMSTERDAM, December 17. Maximilian Harden, writing in ‘‘Die Zukunft,” says that tho time for peace has come. Mankind is sick of slaughter.
