MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.
The committee of iho Phillipstowu Kindergarten held its monthly meeting on Tuesday, at 21, Phillip Street. Eight members wore present, and Mrs Wilhamß presided. The head) mistress (Miss Willis) reported' the roll number as 65., the highest attendance 59, the lowest 17, and the average 51.6. The treasurer reported that school subscriptions amoxinted to £3 18s 6d. Members agreed, to help on the sweet stall, to be held on -' Kindergarten Day," early in Deoember. Mrs Voas and Miss Paterson were appointed tho Visiting Committee for the month'. , ; _■
