Our trendies have been advanced to within two hundred yards of the enemy, and at Sannaiyat we occupied an advanced position on the south bank. Turkish artillery ' sank three barges, and this incident is apparently the basis of an imaginative Turkish communique on June 15. -i ' 1 A TURKISH REPORT. AMSTERDAM, June 16. A Turkish communique states::— The enemy at Felahio removed their camp beyond tho range of our guns. A TURKISH .OFFENSIVE. ENEMY DRIVEN BACK. RETRO GRAD, June 16. A communique states:—The Turkish offensive p the direction of Bagdad occupied the town of Serpul, but wc dislodged the attackers and drovo them back to the original positions. (Received June 18, 11 p.m.) PETROGRAD, June 18. A communique states:—We repulsed Turkish attempts at an offensive in the Trebizond sector. Twenty-seven of our scouts, after a two hours’ fight, dislodged three hundred Turks in the direction of Mosul, compelling them to retreat.
