The export of gold from the do* minion during the past five months was 141,14002, valued at £556,707,, being 11-,2600z,, of a value of £42,371, less than during the corresponding period of last year. ". The quantity of silver exported since the beginning of the year was 309,096 ounces, valued at £32,645, a decreasa of 107,1810 z, v.alucd at £12,953. Over 11,000 fewer ounces, valued at £37,537, were- exported last month than wera exported in May, 1913.
