Tho autumn meeting of the Victoria Racing Club will be concluded to-day. The chief event on the programme is tho Champion Stakes, a weight-for-age event of threo miles. Tho horses engaged include Wnllnlo, winner of tho Essendon Stakes and Australian. Cup. and Radnor, winner of tho St Leger and Loch Plate.

Daylight- Bill gave a satisfactory display in a schooling- task over the hurdles at Ricoarton vesterday.
Mr A. W. Ruthfrford’s yearling fillv by Pi<mor—Oriana. purchased at the Bushy Park sale at 'Wanganui, arrived from the r.orth yesterdnv. She has gone into A. M’Aulay’a stable at Ricoarton, and will be broken in without delay. Mr J. B. Reid’s three-year-olds. Mowbray and Salzburg, were shipped lo Wellington this week, and they are now inmates of J. H. Prosser’s stable at Porirua. J. Pine has a I'hely-’ooking fhree-year-old under his care at Riccsrton. He is by R”d Rein—Melinda, br Musketry—Maybird. by Medallion—Rosebud.
